Our team ethos is simple: person first, diagnosis second. We enjoy spending time with people, getting to know them as individuals with a past, a present and a future. We know this helps us advocate for our clients in a truly person-centred manner. We have unconditional positive regard for the people we work for and work with.
Our advocates have a non-adversarial approach as this supports the therapeutic alliances which the service users and service providers have developed. We believe in providing challenge where it is needed. If there are improvements to be made and lessons to be learned, we highlight needs in a timely and responsive way and support all stakeholders to reach good outcomes. We believe in a service that is without judgment or prejudice and work hard to facilitate independence, self-advocacy and cohesiveness.
