Our response to COVID-19
Advent Advocacy continues to be accessible to all throughout the pandemic. Whether you are in a hospital, residential, educational, or workplace setting we will be there for you.
We are currently delivering face to face advocacy
The safety of the people we advocate for and of our team is paramount. We continue to carry out risk assessments and adapt and respond to government guidelines/regulations and hospital and residential setting’s covid restrictions, to ensure continuity of our service delivery.
It is important to us that we stay connected to the people we advocate for; if the covid situation changes where you are, and we can’t be there in person, our remote service operates alongside our standard face-to-face service so you can still have the same high standard of advocacy delivered to you consistently.
Advent Advocacy’s remote support is offered through the following platforms:
- Microsoft Teams
For enquiries please call us on 01325 776 554 and we’ll be happy to see how we can help you or pass a message to your Advocate

I’d be lying if I said that anyone with a chronic mental health condition can be totally ‘cured’. But through hard work, determination, and hope, you can create your own toolbox, which will help you manage and enjoy life’s pleasures. I’ve come a long way since my first bout of mental ill health. The small steps that I’ve taken means that I am now at a place where the good days definitely outweigh the bad. I still have bad days, but now I know what to do and how to get myself out of them. It takes time to build your toolbox of self-management, but when you experience moments of pure happiness it makes you proud that you fought the battle.
